Navy Yards Park
Washington DC
This unique project consists of multiple features for the public to enjoy. The main attraction is an upper shallow basin that has 9 acrylic nozzle boxes with lighting within. It randomly sprays its patterns to add interest. There is a 25’ long waterfall that falls 12’ into a lower reflecting pool that patrons can walk behind. The lower reflecting pool is a large basin that the public can wade through on hot DC days. Equipment is housed in an equipment room located behind the waterfall feature.
